How to send money with Zelle?

If you want to send money then follow the steps below:-

  1. Zelle is available for download from the Apple Store or Google Play. Zelle is a money-transfer software that allows you to send money to other Zelle users for free.
    • You may look for “Zelle” in the Google Play Store’s search bar at the top of your screen or in the search tab at the bottom of your screen (App Store). “Early Warning Services, LLC” is identified as the app’s developer.
    • You may open a Zelle account regardless of whether your bank or credit union uses the service; if your bank or credit union does, you can bypass the registration process. When you first open Zelle, you’ll be asked whether you want to log in with an existing account or create one. Your basic contact information, a credit or debit card connected with a U.S. based account such as an American Express card and the email address and contact number are all required to create an account. After you’ve provided this information, you may establish an account and use Zelle to receive and transfer money.
  2. Zelle should be opened. This app icon resembles a “Z” with a line through it, similar to a dollar sign ($), and maybe found on one of your Home screens, in the application launcher, or by searching. If you are still in the app store, hit Open to launch the Zelle application.
  3. Press the Send button. Near the top of your screen, you should see this.
    • If you’re using the app for the first time, you will need to grant it access to your contacts list.
  4. Select a contact to whom you wish to give money. You can also add a new contact by typing a new email address or phone number into the top-right bar.
    • If they have separate accounts set up for each, you may have to choose between transferring money to their email or phone number.
    • The contact will receive money delivered notice if they have Zelle; if they don’t, the contact will be encouraged to register a Zelle account.
  5. Fill in the amount you would like to send. Enter the amount you wish to send to the other person using the keypad. Varying banks have different limitations on how much money you may transfer at once, so check with your bank if you intend on sending a big sum of money; however, if the Zelle account isn’t linked to a bank or credit union, you won’t be subject to these restrictions.
  6. After that, click on Review and Send:
This transfers the amount specified to the recipient. The receiver will receive a notification (by text message or email) that a Zelle payment has been received. You can’t cancel a payment once it’s been sent unless the receiver doesn’t have a Zelle account. If the receiver does not have a Zelle account, you can cancel the payment by going to the activity page, selecting the payment you wish to cancel, and tapping Cancel Payment.
