Consumers must register for the Zelle network to use the platform, which is only available in the United States. Limits on Zelle Transfers at Major US Banks

Zelle transfer limit Bank of America

Bank of America, as one such bank that finances Zelle, has a daily maximum of $2,500 and a total of ten transactions. You may send money to other Zelle members for free via the bank’s Cell Banking app or Online Banking, as long as you know their U.S. email id or mobile number.

Individuals also can transfer up to $10,000 in a 7-day period with a maximum of 30 transactions. The bank permits a total of 60 transactions in a month, with a cap of $20,000 each month. While the amount you may transfer with Zelle is limited by Bank of America, the amount you can receive is unrestricted.

Each transfer must be in the range of $1 to $2,500.

Chase Zelle Limit

Chase Bank, like other banks, does not impose any limitations on the quantity of money you can receive. However, there are restrictions to the amount of money you may send using Zelle, and it also depends on the type of account you use.

If you have a personal Chase bank account or a Chase Liquid card, you may send up to $2,000 per day and $16,000 per month. If you have a Chase business checking account or a Chase Private Client account, you can send up to $5,000 per day and $40,000 per month.

Wells Fargo Zelle Limit

Wells Fargo, like most other Zelle-accepting banks, does not enable you to transfer more than the amount specified. However, the amount may vary based on a variety of criteria, including the type of funding account you use and your recipient’s transaction history.

Transferring money from the Wells Fargo account to an established recipient using Zelle is limited to a daily limit of $2,500 and a monthly maximum of $20,000. If you’re sending money from Wells Fargo to a newer recipient through Wells Fargo, though, you can send up to $4,000 each month.

TD Bank Zelle Limit

Most banks do not include a caveat, but TD Bank does. You can transfer money up to a daily limit of $1,000 and a monthly maximum of $5,000 if you wish to send money quickly.

You may send up to $2,500 every day and $10,000 per month if you have the patience to wait three days for the transfer to complete.

USAA Zelle Limit

You can make up to three payments per day with USAA, but you can only make 21 transactions each week. Your limit is set at a daily rolling limit of up to $1,000 and a weekly rolling limit of up to $2,500.

PNC Zelle Limits 

You can transfer a maximum of $1,000 per day and $5,000 per month with PNC Bank.

Navy Federal Zelle Limit

Using Zelle the maximum amount you can send is $1,500, and for Standard Delivery is $3,000 which is 1 to 3 working days. If the transfer is increased to $1500 or processed through ACH then standard limits are applied.

Capital One Zelle Limits

With the help of Zelle transfer can be done up to $2,500 in a single day. But you can request how much you want as no limit is specified. The one who transfers the money needs to have a limit set by the banking institutions.

There are other banks that set their limit for Zelle are as follows:

Citibank

The amount of money you may transfer from your Citibank checking account to other Zelle users depends on the type of checking account you have and your deposit history.

If you have a Citibank Account, Basic Account, or Access Account and have been a Citi client for more than 90 days, you can transfer up to $2,000 per day and $10,000 per month if you have a Citibank Account, Basic Account, or Access Account. If you have Citi Priority, Citigold, or Citi Private Bank accounts, your Zelle App maximum transfer is set at $5,000 per day and $15,000 per month.

The limitations are slightly lower if you’ve been with Citi for less than 90 days. For any sort of checking account, you can transfer up to $1,000 per day and $5,000 per month.

Bank of the United States of America

You can transfer up to $1,000-$2,500 per day and $4,000-$10,000 per month with a U.S. Bank checking account. These numbers, however, are subject to change without notice at any time.

Citizen’s Bank

If you have a Citizen’s Bank checking account, the Zelle Transfer Limit is $1,000 per day and $5,000 per month if you have a Citizen’s Bank checking account.

Ally Bank

You may transfer or request up to $5,000 per day and $10,000 per month with Ally Bank (30 days).

How to increase the Zelle limit?

If the credit or bank union proposes Zelle, then ask for assistance to understand the sending limits on Zelle. If in case the credit union or bank does not previously propose Zelle, the weekly sending limit will be $500.

Make sure there is no such option to increase or decrease the sending limit.
